Primary Purpose:

 

The primary role is to own the ERP processes on behalf of Finance, specifically focusing on the core system design and facilitate its adoption and continuous evolution by actively engaging with the Finance and Sales functions. Key to the role will be ensuring that standardisation and simplification of the business processes is in place and to provide ERP training, testing, and governance utilising the ERP supplier/business partners. The applications chosen are Infor Cloud Suite Industrial (CSI), Infor PLM Discrete, and Infor CRM (formally Sales Logix). Overlaid with Business Intelligence utilising Qlikview

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Defining and Implementing best practice approach to ERP
  • Primary functional responsibility for the Finance and Sales processes within the ERP systems
  • Working with Business Process Experts to drive process improvements and efficiencies through improved use of ERP (ranging from Finance Directors, Managing Directors, Global Sales Managers, Sales and Finance Administrators)
  • Requirements gathering, Definition, Specification, Architectural design and Testing of bespoke requirements, reporting, analysis, and KPI’s
  • Specification of data requirements
  • Project Management of Finance and Sales related (Small/Medium) System implementations / upgrades

     

     

  • The role will be based in the Concord, MA office and will involve travel to other Oxford Instruments sites in the US and Europe.

Education / Qualifications:

 

Degree qualified and several years’ experience in Finance and or Business Systems Analyst role

 

 

 

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

 

  • The candidate will ideally have experience of implementing and/or supporting the Infor CSI and Infor ERP packages with knowledge of the Sales and Marketing functionality.
  • OR be familiar with a number of similar ERP / CRM systems and be able to demonstrate the necessary skills to adapt quickly & effectively to a new system.
  • Understanding of multisite and multinational businesses.
  • Project Management experience (desirable)
